Hello to all our registered users,
As you may be aware, Kilkenny County Council is currently engaged in a
process of drawing up a Master Plan for the long-term redevelopment of the
Smithwick’s Brewery lands in Kilkenny city centre.
As part of this Master Plan process, we are holding a Public Workshop about
the Brewery site on the 9th and 10th of January 2015. This event,
entitled: The Brewery: RE-Visioning is an opportunity for you to contribute
to the drawing up of a vision and principles for the redevelopment of the
site. This will take place on the evening of Friday 9th from 7-9.30pm and
on the morning of Saturday 10th, from 10-13.00pm (a light lunch will be
provided after the Saturday event). Both events will be held in a Kilkenny
city centre venue.
If you are interested in attending, we ask that you commit to attending on
both days in order to engage effectively in this process.

can attend on both days will be given preference.

discussed from the 10th January at ourplan.kilkenny.ie You can then fill
out your comments and submit this to the process. The closing date for any
such submission is the 2nd February 2015.
